Raymond Stemp FRICS FRTPI
Ray is a chartered surveyor in the Planning and development faculty of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and was formerly a chairman of this division. He is also a chartered Town Planner and a fellow of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). After beginning his career as a planner in local government, Ray was appointed as the Head of Planning Services at Basildon District Council where he remained for 15 years. In 1988 Ray set up his own private town and country planning consultancy offering a wide range of services to the public including, what has now become one of his specialties, planning appeals. Since then, the company has grown significantly from its origins at Burnham on Crouch. The company now has offices in Chelmsford and Crawley.

Ray has achieved over 40 years successfully as a town planner in both local government and private practice and is now passing what he has learnt onto his committed team. His role in the company is very demanding, but this does not stop Ray continuing as an external examiner for the College of Estate Management in Reading, in the land use studies module.

Hayley Morley BA (Hons) BPl MRTPI
Hayley is a fully qualified town planner and a chartered member of the RTPI. She has a in-depth professional understanding of the planning system which has been gained through her work with local planning Authorities and for a prominent PLC development company.

Samantha Gibbs LLB (Hons)
Samantha joined the company in June 2007 after completing a degree in law, gaining a 2:1. Samantha plays an active role in the company undertaking a range of activities from completing written application and appeal statements, to site surveys, speaking at Planning Committees and client liaisons.

Samantha is now training to be a planning consultant, and is undertaking a part time Masters degree in Town Planning at Anglia Ruskin University. This is a step towards full RTPI accreditation.

Rebecca Pickop BA (Hons) ACIAT
Rebecca has over 7years experience in Architectural design, she obtained BA in Architectural Technology (Interiors) at Southampton also Associate member of the Chartered institute of Architectural Technologist, Recently joined the practice after working for a conservation Architects for 3years, specialising in restoration, church works and new builds. Previously working for an Architects and surveyors based in East London gaining Rebecca valuable experience on House extensions and housing associations works through to Supermarket refurbishments. Running the architectural side Rebecca deals with all aspects of the design process through to planning and building regulations.

Geof Clarke Dip. ARCH
Geof has been with the company for a number of years and has over 30 years experience in architectural design. Geof has gained a diploma in architecture and completes some of the design work and building regulations drawings for RSA.

Danielle Sleet
Danielle joined the company in March 2008 and carries out the administrative jobs at the Chelmsford office. Danielle also gets involved with drafting design and access statements and carrying out site surveys with the company’s architects. Danielle is also actively involved with the marketing of the company.

Sheila Stemp
Sheila has been a member of the company since it was first established back in 1988. She continues to play an active role at the Burnham office, carrying out administrative work as well as completing the company accounts. Sheila also gets involved with the company’s marketing and provides full financial services to the business.
